ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES

*Duties may include, but not limited to all or some of the following.

  • Responsible for clerical duties at the reception desk

  • Meet & greet patients

  • Register patients in the computer

  • Scan insurance information

  • Scan identification card

  • Take photograph of patient

  • Have patient register in the Kiosk

  • Have patient sign appropriate waivers

  • Answer phones, when necessary

  • Prepare encounter forms for next day

  • Data Entry of patient information

  • Escorts patient to appropriate waiting areas

  • Brings chart to nursing station

  • Update information in computer

  • Other job related tasks, as assigned by supervisors and/or chief operating officer

    ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Excellent customer service and communication skills

  • Demonstrates genuine concern for patients

  • Ability to multi-task

  • Work as a team member

  • Organized and strong attention to detail

  • Willing to work additional hours, flexible hours and late work schedules

  • Treats patients and co-workers with respect

    EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)

  • Two years medical office experience

    Salary: $23-$25/Hour
