Element Materials Technology Facilities Maintenance Technician in South Windsor, Connecticut
Overview
Element has an opportunity for a Facilities Maintenance Technician (2nd shift) to perform a wide variety of general building and equipment maintenance, repairs, and services.
Wage: $18-$25/hr (2nd shift has $3.00/hr shift differential)
Responsibilities
Completes maintenance projects during off shifts or shutdown periods when needed
Responsible for supporting facility status/inspections and alerting Leadership of unusual occurrences
Troubleshooting to include electrical, structural, plumbing and HVAC issues
Performs weekly facility maintenance and assist in monthly safety inspection
Skills / Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED
Minimum 3 years experience with mechanical, plumbing, and electrical maintenance experience
Ability to maintain professional candor at all times and remain calm when faced with mounting pressure related to deadlines and multiple priorities
Ambition to be productive individually and as part of a team
Well-developed verbal and written communication skills to meet a variety of communication needs
