We are currently seeing a Risk and Comlian Associate to join our team. The Risk and Compliance Associate is resposible for

scheduling appointments, gives information to callers, prepare meeting agendas and minutes, and otherwise relieves official of clerical work and minor administrative and business details by performing the following duties.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Send invitations, agenda, and packages for the Audit Committee. Prepare meeting minutes.

  • Prepare materials for inclusion to the Board meetings as required.

  • Responsible for logging new self-identified, audit and exam issues using the bank’s tracking system.

  • Using the bank’s tracking system, generate reports on status of open and past due issues for inclusion in the Director of Risk and Compliance’s management reports

  • Primary person for complaint tracking.

  • Monitor the Action Plans for each issue to determine if it is trending for on-time completion or if extensions are required.

  • Coordinate the approval process for issues requiring attention.

  • Collect evidence needed for Risk and Compliance validation of remediated issues.

  • Assist in the coordination of audit and regulatory exam activities.

  • Track audit and exam schedules and communicate schedules with impacted departments

  • Maintain a record of requested audit/exam items and timing of delivery to support a smooth audit process

  • Maintain a file of audit and exam correspondence including exit letters and management responses

  • Policies – Coordinate activities around bank policy updates. Updated policies are prepared for presentation to the BOD. Coordinate with IT the posting of the approved policies to the bank’s intranet site.

  • Assist with the coordination and approvals process of all compliance and policy training requirements

  • Assist with the vendor management process which includes assessment of vendor adherence to banking regulatory requirements

  • Other duties as assigned


  • Bachelors degree – business major preferred

  • Up to three years related experience within a financial institution

  • Ability to work with all levels of the organization

Excellent computer and software skills, including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access.


Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from colleagues at all levels of the organization.
