IT Business Analyst ROCGJP00025990 A leading biotechnology company is seeking a IT Business Analyst. The successful candidate will drive the Analytics dashboard/Reporting project requirements and liaison with Business and IT solution/Dev team from initiation to completion end to end. The ideal candidate has 12+ years of experience analyzing business requirements specifically in the data and analytics/reporting space as the primary BSA. IT Business Analyst Pay and Benefits: • Hourly pay: $70-$80 • Worksite: Leading biotechnology company (South San Francisco, CA 94080 or Remote, Candidates must be located in the United States) • W2 Employment, Group Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, Retirement Savings Program • 40 hours/week, 8 Month Assignment IT Business Analyst Responsibilities: • Drive the Analytics dashboard/Reporting project requirements and liaison with Business and IT solution/Dev team from initiation to completion end to end as a BSA • Facilitate workshops - storyboarding, translate story-boarding artifacts into an electronic format and provide input in design sessions. • Perform data analysis to support dashboard use case feasibility. • Analyze and document data metrics requirements as user stories (scope) and business rules (use cases) and UX needs. • Plan user acceptance test (UAT), support creation of UAT scripts and facilitate UAT. • Analyze and document current and future business processes. • Train the operations team as needed and support them in resolving production issues. • Perform knowledge transfer to Training & Communication teams. Support user deployment activities as needed. • Must build strong relationships with our stakeholders. • Show up with an enterprise mindset and ensure work is not being done in silos. • Be a systems thinker and look at the big picture while determining the best solution. IT Business Analyst Qualifications: • 12+ years of experience analyzing business requirements specifically in the data and analytics/reporting space as the primary BSA. • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, MIS, or equivalent preferred. • Strong experience in Agile methodology and working in Scrum teams is a must-have. Scrum certification is a plus. • Strong experience with documenting Epics, User Stories and spikes using a scrum tool such as JIRA. Confluence knowledge is a plus. • Advanced experience with data visualization and business intelligence software (ETL, Data Integration, Master Data, Qlikview, SAS,...) a huge plus • Experience working with Machine learning, AI/NLP/Predictive analytics technology is a big plus. • Some SQL experience is a must-have. • A strong understanding of data integration and data modeling a must. • Working knowledge of using collaboration tools such as Miro, Jamboard etc. • Demonstrated success in handling initiatives of high complexity and a problem-solving mindset. • Ability to multitask, work in a fast-paced environment, and required to have an agile mindset. • IBAA-CBAP or similar certification is a huge plus. • Pharma knowledge a plus
