Situated in the beautiful mountains near Michaux State Forest, South Mountain Restoration Center is a Long-Term Care Skilled Nursing Home Facility operated by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
DESCRIPTION OF WORK In this position, you will perform skilled work at the journeyman level in several trades, including the electrical, carpentry, plumbing, painting, and masonry trades. You will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of buildings, fixtures, machinery, and equipment throughout the facility. Your duties will include repairing doors and furniture; preparing and painting interior and exterior surfaces; installing and repairing various fixtures including sinks and faucets; mowing grass and removing snow; repairing air conditioning and heating equipment; and rough as well as finish carpentry.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week Work hours are 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch. Travel and overtime as needed. This may change based on operational need. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: Two years of experience as a Maintenance Repairman 1; or Four years of experience in building and plant maintenance work, which has involved at least two of the building, electrical, or mechanical trades; or Any equivalent combination of experience and training that affords the applicant with the Required Knowledges, Skills, and Abilities. Special Requirement: This position requires possession of a valid Class C Driver's License. Other Requirements: You must meet the PA residency requirement.
