JOB REQUIREMENTS: Global Power Components is a privately held, growing manufacturer of UL heavy gauge steel fuel tanks, trailers, large generator enclosures and modular metal enclosures for housing fully-equipped electrical distribution and control equipment. We are seeking 1st & 2ndShift Material Handlers to assist in the movement of steel/metal and other materials. Responsibilities: Move materials to work areas in preparation for building product Load & Unload Trucks Order Picking Coordinate and stage materials quickly and safely Read blueprints to determine materials necessary for projects as well as timelines to prepare for projects Requirements: Previous experience as a material handler Previous Forklift experience (sit-down) (Overhead Crane Experience a plus) 1-3 years in a manufacturing environment Able to troubleshoot and problem solve Must be highly motivated Able to communicate and work well with others Pay attention to details and have a strong drive to succeed Must pass competency test and pre-employment physical including drug screen* Ability to read blueprints to be able to pick appropriate materials* *There will be a pre-employment test in these items What\'s great about this job/Global Power Components: Expanding, privately held organization Excellent job security, 40+ hours a week, 52 weeks a year (most employees work 50 hours a week) OT paid over 40 hours Global Power Components is an Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action Employer.
