Waste Connections Recycling Sorter in South Hutchinson, Kansas

Stutzman Recycling, a Waste Connections company, is looking for a safety conscience Recycling Sorter to join our team in Hutchinson, Kansas.

We offer $18 per hour and fantastic benefits!

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Sorting recycled material onto different conveyor belts and moving material to the appropriate areas.

• Maintaining the cleanliness of the recycling area and yard outside.

• Help maintain equipment such as baler and conveyor line.

• Ability to perform a physically demanding job, loading and unloading heavy material.

• Assuming custodial duties as needed.

• Other manual labor that does not involve the operation of heavy equipment.

WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL EFFORT:

• Must be able to stand continually through entire shift.

•Work environment involves some exposure to physical risks such as moving mechanical parts. Which require following basic safety precautions.

•The employee is exposed to fumes and vibration. Noise level is loud. PPE provided.

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:

•Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds

•Ability to read, write, comprehend and communicate in English.
