Job Description

Grace is seeking a Reliability Engineer for our South Haven Site. The South Haven Site produces a portfolio of products for the specialty pharmaceutical industries, specifically Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients. Consisting of a cGMP kilo lab, pilot plant and custom manufacturing at the commercial volumes, the site is fully equipped to develop and manufacture custom drug intermediates and API’s. South Haven is nestled on the coast of Lake Michigan with beautiful beaches and fun year-round.

Responsibilities

  • Conducts Critical Equipment Analysis

  • Manages Critical Spares Inventory

  • Creates Asset care plans for critical assets

  • Track and analyzes reliability data on critical equipment

  • Analyze bad actors and develop improvement plans through data driven methodologies

  • Develop Maintenance Strategies by equipment types

  • Supports and Run Maintenance Internal Projects

  • Updates Engineering and Equipment Drawings and Documents to reflect field conditions

  • Supports area Maintenance Technicians and Engineers

  • Identifies and scope’s maintenance/reliability improvement projects

  • Assists with emergencies, unplanned problems, and repairs

  • Supports Purchasing/Goods Receipts/New Vendors/Requisitions

  • Participates in safety programs and initiatives

  • Participates in Process Hazard Analysis (PHAs) including PSSRs, and Management of Change (MOCs)

Physical Requirements and Environment

  • Ability to follow safety protocols and standards working in a plant setting with highly hazardous materials

  • Must be willing to wear PPE (Personal Protective equipment) including but not limited to hard hat, protective eyewear, steel-toed boots, hearing protection, Level A suit, full face respirator

Required Qualifications

  • BS in Engineering discipline (ME highly preferred)

  • Industrial manufacturing experience in processes such as Chemical, Paper, Metals, Refinery, Pharmaceutical

  • 5+ years in maintenance reliability experience

  • Demonstrated use of RCCA and FMEA analysis #GRACE, #INDEED

Preferred Qualifications

  • BS in Engineering discipline (ME highly preferred)

  • Industrial manufacturing experience in processes such as Chemical, Paper, Metals, Refinery, Pharmaceutical

  • 5+ years in maintenance reliability experience

  • Demonstrated use of RCCA and FMEA analysis

  • API 510 and/or 570 certified
