Boswell Engineering is seeking an experienced Project Manager in the electric utility industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Project managers will be assigned projects that range from replacing a breaker at a substation to an entirely new substation and/or transmission line upgrades

  • Typical substation projects may be breaker replacement, cap bank heaters, bus work, transformer replacement, control house rehab or replacement, extending a substation yard, or a new substation

  • Typical transmission line projects may be replacing insulators, replacing the OPGW, adding circuits, or a new transmission line

  • Project managers may also be assigned transmission line routing studies

  • The client will provide all of the necessary training for both the project management system that is utilized and all of the mandated client safety training and FERC training

  • Project managers shall attend meetings at the client’s Morristown office

  • Adhere to internal standards, policies, and procedures

  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • BS degree in Electrical Engineering preferred

  • Formal project management training

  • At least five (5) years of project management experience

  • Experience in managing substation and/or transmission line projects
