West Virginia Employer Welder Frabricator in South Charleston, West Virginia

Company seeks Welder Fabricator with 2 to 4 years of welding experience. Tape measurement and blueprint skills a must. Fabrication experience / certification preferred. Highly skilled in Mig / Tig application (Ferrous and alloy metals. Must have experience with stainless steel & aluminum). Knowledgeable and skilled in the proper use of cutting (Plasma, acetylene torch, shear) equipment. Skilled in reading comprehension, writing and mathematical skills. Ability to understand written and verbal work instructions. Skilled in the operation of basic hand tools, shop tools and equipment. Competency in the use of measuring devices to stay within required tolerances. Highly skilled and mechanically inclined. Ability to learn processes quickly, adapt to process changes and implement those changes. Knowledge of the manufacturing processes and related machinery. Ability to keep a clean and safe working environment. Welding Certification is a plus. Manufacturing and/or automotive experience preferred. Willingness to travel if required. Must be able to pass a preemployment drug screening. Physical requirements posted on corporate website. EOE Employer, Compensation: Compensation for this position will be in the range of $18 to $20 per hour. Qualified candidates will generally work a 40-hour work week.
