Description:

The Service Leader, Provider Development & Recruitment, provides leadership and direction related to strategy development, planning and execution of Provider practices and programs including: Provider talent supply chain; Provider recruitment and retention, onboarding, 1st year experience including formal mentoring program; talent development; leadership development, succession planning, Provider relations; Provider engagement; and coaching.

Position Requirements/Qualifications:

Education:

Bachelor’s Degree (Master’s Degree preferred) with major course work in Business Administration, Organizational Development, Industrial Relations, Organizational Psychology, Sociology, Counseling, or another closely related field.

Related Experience:

Prior experience as a Human Resources (or similar field) or Change Leadership at a Manager/Director level in a complex, integrated healthcare system focusing on physicians

Prior experience with organizational talent and leadership development.

Other Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Working knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and practices. Working knowledge of physician and provider compensation.

  • Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills; ability to comfortably interact with diverse populations and levels within the organization

  • Strong leadership skills; ability to create and work within a collaborative team environment with a strong customer service orientation. Ability to inspire respect and instill confidence at all levels.

  • Strong facilitation and presentation skills; ability to create Power Point presentations and effectively deliver content to all levels of the organization.

  • Ability to lead through influence and collaboration. Ability to identify and use innovative approaches for leading a health care team. Ability to adapt style and approach to the needs of varying teams, individuals and situations.

  • Ability to effectively maintain the workload expected of a healthcare administrator. Ability to plan and implement programs and projects within designated time frames.

  • Ability to influence results and tactfully manage complex relationships and influences within and across the organization and to effectively represent the system to diverse internal and external groups.

  • Personal presence characterized by a sense of honesty, integrity, and caring, with the ability to inspire and motivate others to promote the mission, vision, goals, and values.

  • Organized, detail orientated, and able to maintain strict confidentiality with highly sensitive information.

  • Self-directed and works independently.

  • Genuine enthusiasm for working in a rapidly changing environment in a growing organization, with the ability to champion organizational improvement and be a strong catalyst for change.

  • Computer Competency - Good knowledge of standard desktop and Windows based computer system, including email, e-learning, intranet, and computer navigation. Ability to use other software required to perform essential functions.
