Job Overview

To act as a liaison between the agent/customer and factory. Responsible for incoming orders. Answer inquiries from our sales agencies and customers. Work on special projects that are delegated by management.

A Day In The Life

  • Maintain satisfactory customer/agent relations

  • Enter purchase orders into SAP system

  • Maintain status of purchase orders

  • Respond to customer/agent inquiries

  • Expedite orders

  • Work with shipping facilities to insure expedient service

  • Process customer/agent complaints and take corrective action

  • All sales support activities

  • Work with production to satisfy customer needs

  • Review consigned stock replenishment reports and release consigned agent truckloads

  • Monitor and reduce backorders

  • Resolve open freight issues

  • Process returns for credit

  • Issue credit and debit memos

  • Assist in duties of other correspondents in their absence

  • Answer telephone calls

  • Maintain customer information files

  • Must possess and apply a broad knowledge of principles, practices, and procedures of customer service to the completion of difficult assignments.

  • Must work well independently and with a team

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred

  • 2-5 years of customer service experience preferred.

  • Proficient in use of Microsoft 365 including Outlook, Teams, Excel
