  • Reading work orders and specification sheets before starting the machine.

``` - Properly powering up and down the machine. - Loading and unloading parts. - Ensuring proper tooling for each machine. - Creating and sizing jaws on the machine. - Changing chucking devices when necessary. - Recognizing insert and tool geometry. - Making offset adjustments for size.

  • Maintaining and continuously improving the quality of parts produced.
  • Reading blueprints, sketches, drawings, manuals, specifications, or sample parts to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished work pieces, sequence of operations, and setup requirements.
