Aerotek Mig/tig Welder in South Beloit, Illinois

Our client, a leader in their manufacturing industry, is looking to add multiple welders to their operations. They have openings on 1st shift within their operation. We are looking for individuals who have experience or their certification in welding. These positions are long term/permanent job openings due to increases in business.

Description:

A Welder performs welding processes for the fabrication and assembly of metal carts, cabinets or stainless tables and carts. Ability to stand, sit, walk, bend, twist, stoop, pull, push, assemble, and carry for extended periods of time, up to 10 hours per day. Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds regularly. Frequently lift or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds with assistance from another team member.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Determine the appropriate welding process, equipment or method based on product requirements.

Set up components for welding according to job specifications

Follow all safe manufacturing, material handling and PPE procedures

Follow written and verbal directions to complete assignments or jobs

Perform all duties in conjunction with Jamco procedures

Quality Check of all finished processes / work

Keep work area clean and clutter free

Perform other duties that may be assigned
