Who you are?

We are seeking applicants for the position of Sample Preparation Assistant, who are excited by the challenges of our business and variety this roles offers. You will be based at our Wingfield, Adelaide SA and will be responsible for preparing mining samples for testing using specialised equipment. You will be fully trained in the Sample Preparation process of predominantly ore samples.

Some of your tasks will be:

  • Sample processing and handling - Sorting, weighing, crushing and milling of samples

  • Machine operating – Crushing, Pulverisers and Robotic Mill Cells

What will you bring to the role?

  • Reliable and ability to work a shift roster

  • Physically fit, prepared to carry out manual tasks and able to lift up to 15 kilo sample bags of Rocks, Sand or Core

  • Have the ability to follow set procedures and good attention to detail

  • Be willing to work as part of a team with a high focus on quality & safety

  • Experience working in a production, processing or warehouse environment would be beneficial

Shift work roster:

  • Monday to Friday

  • 8 hour rotating shift roster

  • Day shift (7.00am – 3.00pm)

  • Afternoon shift (3.00pm – 11.00pm)

  • Night shift (11.00pm – 7.00am)

**Full availability across all shifts is required

**Optional weekend overtime may be available if there is an increase in workload

Please note that as part of the recruitment experience you must be able to pass a comprehension, numerical and literacy test as well as a full Medical, Drug and Alcohol test.
