ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Counts and measures parts to ensure accuracy

  • Uses hand tools (e.g., hammer, screwdriver, wrench, utility knife, tape measure) in assembly, part processing, and packing operations

  • Uses power tools (e.g., pneumatic hand tools, circular saws, banders) in assembly and part processing tasks.

  • Operates industrial equipment (e.g., punch press, sewing equipment) for processing aluminum parts and making awning covers

  • Operates material-handling equipment (e.g., pallet jacks) for moving materials to processing areas or to storage areas.

  • Uses a computer to access job orders and inventory information when necessary.

  • Works as part of a team to meet production deadlines.

  • Rotates in the various Production Departments as assigned.

    REQUIREMENTS

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred and a minimum of one year related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Previous manufacturing experience preferred

  • Lift truck experience and/or industrial sewing experience helpful

  • Ability to read written instructions

  • Possess basic math skills

  • Ability to accurately use a tape measure
