Responsibilities:
Performs CT exams and CT guided procedures within the hospital setting for ER, Inpatient and Outpatient studies. Maintains orderliness and cleanliness of working area. Notifies Clinical Engineering of equipment malfunctions and maintains working area in safe patient manner at all times according to Joint Commission standards. Maintains IV competency and follows departmental scanning protocols. Maintains composure and is able to prioritize cases during high volume periods within an emergency room setting. Can use critical thinking skills to make appropriate decisions based on clinical skills; works well within a team setting and uses clear, concise communication to be part of a dedicated and compassionate care team. Dedicated to delivering safe, quality, imaging at all times and follows the Image Gently principles.
Qualifications:
Graduate of AMA Certified Radiography Program. Advanced certification in CT required. Must be state licensed ARRT (R) (CT). Must be CPR certified. CT experience within a hospital setting preferred.
Hours:
Various Shifts - Days, Evenings, Nights & Weekends.
