Robert Half is in search of a proficient HR Coordinator to be an integral part of our clients' team based in Somerset, New Jersey. This role entails a variety of HR tasks, including onboarding new hires, and handling HR administrative duties. This role also offers an exciting opportunity for those with a background in HR and a knack for administrative tasks.

Responsibilities include:

• Oversee and manage the onboarding and processing of new hires to ensure a smooth transition into the company

• Carry out various HR administrative tasks efficiently and in a timely manner

• Manage I-9 Compliance to ensure the company adheres to all legal standards

• Maintain confidentiality in all matters relating to employee records and information

• Provide administrative assistance across various HR projects and initiatives

• Handle payroll duties, ensuring all employees are paid accurately and on time

• Develop job descriptions that accurately reflect the roles and responsibilities of each position

• Carry out recruiting tasks, such as posting job openings and screening potential candidates

• Use HRIS - Human Resources Info Systems for efficient management and organization of employee data

Requirements

• Proficiency in I-9 Compliance

• Strong commitment to maintaining confidentiality

• Proven experience in Administrative Assistance

• Ability to manage Payroll effectively

• Skills to Develop Job Descriptions accurately

• Experience in Recruiting in the construction/contractor industry

• Knowledge and experience in using Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS)

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks efficiently

• Strong organizational and time management skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
