**

  1. GENERAL FUNCTIONS/SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
  2. Develop an environment of continual improvement through the use of Lean tools.
  3. Promote the Bird Family Values through your actions --- Trust, Innovation, Teamwork, Achievement and Accountability
  4. Responsible for describing the quality policy and goals, your contribution to quality, and the effects of not observing requirements.

POSITION:

  1. Evaluate and troubleshoot products for needed repairs.
  2. Communicate and interact with customers and global service partners as needed.
  3. Perform incoming product evaluations.
  4. Troubleshooting mechanical and electrical assemblies
  5. Possess the ability to perform/execute calibration and test procedures in accordance with ISO/ICE 170252005 accreditation.
  6. Experience with Microsoft Office package and the ability to understand and learn corporate ERP system.

     

  7. REQUIRED SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/COMPETENCIES (Applicant must meet all to be considered):

  8. Prior electronics service repair/calibration experience, technical degree or certification required.
  9. Ability to read schematics and follow work instructions.
  10. Must have working knowledge of basic test equipment (Multimeters, Signal Generators, Power Meters, Network Analyzers, Frequency Counters, RF Generators and Spectrum Analyzers) 4. Proficient soldering skills
  11. English literacy

     

  12. DESIRED SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/COMPETENCIES (Applicants may be considered even if they do not possess any or all of these):

  13. Physically able to work sitting for long periods and ability to lift 50 lbs.
