VWR INTERNATIONAL, LLC Maintenance Technician (3rd Shift) in Solon, Ohio
The Opportunity: Avantor is looking for a Maintenance Technician (3rd Shift) to install, maintain, and repair manufacturing equipment and fixtures. The Maintenance Technician conducts general maintenance, troubleshoots problems and escalates issues as needed. This role will be a full-time position based out of our Solon, Ohio office. Work Schedule: 3rd shift: Sunday-Friday,10:30pm-6:30am (flexibility as needed) What we're looking for: Education: High School diploma or equivalent degree. Experience: 3+ years industrial maintenance experience to include: electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic and fabrication. HMI knowledge and troubleshooting experience. cGMP and 5S familiarity desired. HVAC systems experience preferred. Additional Qualifications: Familiarity with continuous improvement projects. Strong computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook) and experience using maintenance software such as e-maintenance preferred. Strong communication skills. How you will thrive and create an impact: Maintain building electrical system and heating and cooling equipment. Perform maintenance or general carpentry on items such as doors, floors, docks, overhead doors, roof downspouts, product racks, material handling equipment, etc. Complete and maintain required reports when maintenance tasks and repairs are concluded. Answer security alarm calls as needed and perform other duties as assigned.
