Service Engineer

What would you do as our Service Engineer?

Reporting to the Service Manager, The Service Engineer will work on field the following times/days: 08.00 -17.00 Monday to Friday and will be responsible for attendance and completion of Service Call Outs as well as the servicing and maintenance of equipment.

You would also:

  • Basic trouble shooting, maintenance and repair on designated equipment

  • Completion of preventative maintenance such as health checks

  • Managing own van stock and ordering replacement stock with Service Supervisor

  • Adherence to Health and Safety and Environmental Regulations

  • Maintaining tools and test equipment and ensuring they are properly calibrated

    The skills and experience you need:

    We are looking for someone who :

  • Has a good understanding of electrical equipment

  • Has ideally, a strong construction industry knowledge

  • Has computer literacy and understanding of PC hardware

  • Has experience of engaging with customers in a pressured environment is preferable

    The ideal candidate is highly organized and punctual, demonstrating good verbal and written communication skills, must excel in problem-solving, possess the ability to work independently, and uphold ethical standards while consistently maintaining a professional appearance.
