Amgen Key Account Manager Oncology-Hematology, located in Sofia in Sofia, Bulgaria

We are currently looking for a new colleague to join our team as Key Account Manager Oncology-Hematology , located in Sofia , reporting directly, Sr. Mgr Commercial.

The Role

Responsibility and accountability for managing key accounts and achieving defined sales targets, establishing and managing high quality relationships to maximize sales of Amgen’s products within the defined territory towards HCPs and other stakeholders. This includes face-to face & virtual interactions, set up of local and regional promotional and scientific events and contribution/participating in organizing/representation in larger national events when required.

In collaboration with the line manager, the Key Account Manager is responsible for implementing an integrated key account management plan of action in line with the marketing strategy.

Key Job Accountabilities:

  • Manage key accounts at the assigned territory to achieve customer sales by executing POA marketing strategies, which includes delivering branded sales messages

  • Execute planned programs, scheduling and following-up with continuing health educational programs

  • Developing and implementing of account management plans, including review of sales activities, territory analysis and CRM maintenance

  • Communicate expert knowledge of the product, mechanism of action, studies, indications, dosage and respond correctly to all customer questions

  • Providing feedback on marketing strategies and effectiveness in the field

  • Regularly provides customer and market insights

Basic Qualifications:

  • University education (in the field of medicine, pharmacy, biology)

  • At least 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical industry

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Sales experience in the oncology or hematology market

  • Key account management experience

  • Experience in Specialty selling environments

  • Familiarity with customers in territory

  • Analytical thinking and the ability to design and prepare a strategy for a given region and hospital

  • Competitive selling skills - track record

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Project management skills
