Category & Customer Marketing Manager

Location: Sofia – Head Office

Reporting to: Customer Excellence Director

Position Overview:

This role drives our First-Choice ambition by leveraging beer and consumer insights for strategic partnerships. It creates and executes customer programs for long-term growth, contributing to category strategy alignment and effective business tactics.

Responsibilities:

  • Provides category expertise to Marketing, Customer Marketing, and Sales Teams; Analyzes category evolution and development opportunities at the channel level; Influences customer decisions by aligning their needs with company capabilities.

  • Collaborates with sales to improve beverage category understanding, advises on new initiatives, and educates teams on market trends through analysis.

  • Drives brand visibility at point of sale by leveraging market data and consumer insights to design, execute, and evaluate effective plans and activities for channels and customers.

  • Accountable for superior planning and execution of promotional, POSM, and CAPEX investments at point of sale, driven by strategic thinking and deep understanding of customer, consumer, and market needs. Manages budget allocation, expenditure, and ROI tracking.

  • Drives Customer marketing solutions for key customers and channels (ON/OFF/KA), managing Category Manager, Customer Marketing Managers, and Regional Trade Marketing Coordinators, POSM Specialist. Evaluates partnerships, ensures successful implementation, and integrates digital programs into the marketing agenda.

  • Shapes top-notch, tailored activation platforms through CAPEX and promos, driven by deep understanding of shopper and market needs, fostering enduring partnerships and positioning us as a growth catalyst for customers.

  • Nurtures a team of skilled category development and customer marketing managers, fostering expertise, integrity, and impactful results.

Requirements:

  • 5 years of FMCG Sales experience, including in an international company with a leading category position.

  • Expertise in building high-performance teams and fostering long-term partnerships with external clients.

  • Strategic and conceptual thinker with strong leadership abilities.

  • Proficient in defining channel strategies using customer, consumer, and shopper insights.

  • Demonstrated success in driving company commercial agendas with clients.

  • Skilled in change management, influencing, negotiation, problem-solving, and project management.

  • Familiarity with digital platforms (e-commerce, e-retailers, banners).

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
