OSW Equipment & Repair, LLC, a subsidiary of Federal Signal Corporation, is the largest truck body and trailer manufacturer in the Pacific Northwest. OSWs main facility is located in the Maltby area in Snohomish County. OSW and has been in business for over 20 years and has branches in Edmonton, Canada and Tempe, Arizona.

 

As a Paint Prepper on our growing team, you are contributing to the success of the company by assisting the Industrial Painters and making sure the final touch comes out perfect. This is an entry-level position in the paint department for steel and aluminum surface preparation. WE WILL TRAIN! This position will include using various types of grinding and sanding equipment in preparation for painting. If you are bright, highly motivated, and a team player we encourage you to apply!

Job Summary:

This position is responsible for preparing products for the painting process as well as assisting the Industrial Painters and making sure the final touch comes out perfect.

 

Duties/Responsibilities:

- - Inspect equipment, structures, or material.

``` - - Apply Cleaning solvents, adhesives, caulking, sealants, or coatings.

``` - - Mask vehicle body in preparation for painting.

``` - - Mix paint, ingredients, or chemicals, according to specifications.

``` - - Operate mechanized devices, or equipment.

```{=html}

``` - - Clean equipment or machinery.

```{=html}

``` - - Operate mix or blending machine; use hand or power tools.

``` - - Prime or paint vehicle or transportation equipment surfaces.

``` - - Read work orders and instructions.

```{=html}

``` - - Organize, plan, and prioritize work.

``` - - Distinguish colors.

``` - - Follow all safe work practices.

Education and Experience

Physical Requirements

- - Wage Expectations: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
