Responsibilities: The Greif Early Career Program offers a 10-week corporate internship experience. Participants will undertake project-based assignments focused on IT. As an IT Service Desk Management Intern, you will be immersed in a fast-paced environment, handling essential IT service desk functions and contributing to the team's success. Manage and respond to calls related to technical issues, providing prompt and efficient support Work through assigned tickets, including troubleshooting and resolving technical issues Open and manage critical tickets, coordinate with the appropriate points of contact, and engage with vendors for major troubleshooting A summer internship at Greif will enable you to: Apply academic knowledge to gain industry experience Collaborate with fellow interns and colleagues on a meaningful project to present at the end of your internship Access professional development opportunities and learning material Gain clarity on academic and career goals Assimilate into a corporate team environment You will have the opportunity to: Attend the week-long Internship Summit at Greifs corporate headquarters in Delaware, Ohio Assist in IT assignments and ongoing projects Familiarize yourself with departmental functions Work directly with IT professionals and gain practical experience in handling IT service desk operations Gain comprehensive knowledge of Greifs IT systems and infrastructure Collaborate with various IT teams, learning about projects and initiatives across different IT disciplines Attend internship events, social networking events, and roundtables Potentially present to the Executive Leadership Team at the end of the internship Contribute to performance goals and assigned projects Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications: Actively pursuing an undergraduate degree in Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field Minimum completion of two years or more of college preferred prior to the start of your internship Legally authorized to work in the U.S. Able to work full-time during the 10-week internship experience beginning May 19th, 2025, to July 25th, 2025 What sets you apart: Strong academic background, with a preferred GPA of 3.5 or above Relevant internship, work experience, or involvement with professional clubs/organizations Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team Strong interpersonal skills and a customer service mindset Actively contributes ideas and solutions to the team Proficient in Excel, technically savvy, and leverages advanced tools like AI to enhance work processes Curiosity and problem-solving skills Pays attention to detail and critical thinking skills Excellent written and oral communication, organizational, analytical, and adaptability skills Goes above and beyond in tasks, demonstrating reliability and timeliness Takes i itiative to find solutions independently and explores new tools Open to feedback and willing to learn and grow from constructive criticism Ready to embark on this exciting journey?
