[Under minimal supervision and with great expertise the incumbent performs electrical and mechanical work on all plant equipment including but not limited to all production and ancillary equipment while maintaining a safe work environment. Perform re-builds and complex mechanical/electrical troubleshooting work, and leads related projects as assigned.]{arial",sans-serif"=""}

  • Maintain, service, troubleshoot, install, and repair electrical and electronic circuitry and related components associated with production equipment
  • Able to program PLC logic and use computer control programs to troubleshoot and improve machine performance.
  • Utilize electrical ladder diagrams, electronic circuitry diagrams, and software programs to modify, repair, or improve equipment functionality.
  • Install, maintain and repair wiring, motors, lighting and electrical systems in a manufacturing environment
  • Assist employees with repairs and diagnosis of equipment problems.
  • Work with machine shop equipment including, but not limited to, mill, lathe, drill press, welding, and cutting equipment.
  • Provides troubleshooting on equipment problems; recommends and assists in repairs relating to electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment.
  • Monitor, schedule, perform, and document preventive maintenance on equipment.
  • Research and requisition machine parts as required.
  • Maintain/improve safety-focused culture by complying with all safety policies and performing facility Safety inspections.
  • Participate in cost savings initiatives.
  • Communicate effectively and professionally with co-workers, employees from other departments, and the facility supervision team to increase safety, ensure quality, and maximize productivity.
