Warren, Washington, & Albany Counties ARC Direct Support Professional -Day Hab in Slingerlands, New York

Direct Support Professional - Day Hab One of our Day Hab programs located in Slingerlands, NY has a Full Time 35 hours Direct Support Professional (DSP) position available. The schedule for this position is Monday-Friday and shifts include 7am-2:30pm, 7:30am-3pm, 8am-3:30pm or 8:30am-4pm. All shifts require a 30 minute unpaid lunch break. The rate of pay is $17.00 per hour. This is an hourly position, and should you be interested - overtime is available. Day Hab DSPs support and care for people with intellectual or other developmental disabilities. Their duties include but are not limited to developing communication and interpersonal skills and exploring new areas of interest both on-site and in the community. Want to be a WWAARC DSP and join our Team? Our DSPs are required to be 18 years of age and we prefer them to have a valid driver’s license, and High School Diploma or equivalent, but these are not required. No experience necessary and we provide extensive paid training. Shift Differentials and a DSP Sign-on Bonus (for Full-Time 40 hour/Part-Time & 30-hour DSPs) are available for some programs/locations/positions.
