A holistic end-to-end experience in a corporate environment with access and visibility to senior executives, hands-on experience in financial reporting, managerial reporting, tax preparation and annual audit, and participation in daily tasks as well as special projects.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with general accounting month-end closing procedures

  • Monthly financial statement and managerial reporting review and analysis

  • Prepare financial reporting packages

  • Assist in data collection and entry in preparation for ASC 842 implementation

  • Prepare documentation in support of external audits

  • Perform ad hoc reporting and analysis and investigate issues providing explanations and interpretation

  • Handling sensitive or confidential information with honesty and integrity

  • Complete special projects as needed and other duties assigned

    Requirements

  • Must be actively enrolled in an undergraduate program at an accredited local University, with a major in Accounting or Finance. Junior or Senior level, with current GPA of 3.0 or above

  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without Visa sponsorship

  • Ability to communicate process and findings through oral and written communication effectively and efficiently

  • Ambitious, positive attitude, and a desire to build a career in the Accounting field

  • Possess a strong desire to learn and eagerness to gain hands-on experience

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, have excellent math skills, and be able to use a computer properly

    Time Commitment

  • Core hours of operation are 8:00am and 5:00pm Monday thru Friday

  • 10 weeks (End of May through first week in August)
