All-Stat Portable is hiring Medical Assistants to join our growing team!! 

Looking to join a leading company in the portable health care industry? Since 1978, All-Stat Portable has continued to provide dependable, consistent, and accurate mobile imaging services to the Chicagoland area & surrounding regions.   

Duties and Responsibilities: 

 

  • Patient Care:

  • Assist in taking patient medical histories, including cardiac history, symptoms, and medication lists.

  • Prepare patients for cardiac procedures, including ECG (electrocardiogram), Pacemaker/TTM, Cardiac Monitors.

  • Clinical Procedures:

  • Perform basic cardiac diagnostic tests, such as ECGs, Pacemaker TTM, and Cardiac Monitors.

  • Prepare and maintain equipment used for cardiac procedures and tests, ensuring they are clean, calibrated, and ready for use.

  • Administrative Duties:

  • Schedule patient appointments for cardiac tests, procedures, and follow-up visits.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient medical records, including test results, treatment plans, and correspondence with other healthcare providers.

  • Assist with billing and coding related to cardiac services provided to patients.

  • Coordinate referrals to other healthcare specialists as needed for further evaluation or treatment.

  • Patient Support:

  • Facilitate communication between patients, healthcare providers, and family members to ensure continuity of care and patient satisfaction.

  • Quality Assurance:

  • Adhere to clinical protocols and standards of care related to cardiac procedures and patient management.

  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing patient outcomes, safety, and satisfaction.

  • Stay current with advances in cardiac medicine and technology through continuing education and professional development activities.

    Qualifications: 

  • Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)

  • Having Cardiac Experience (EKG, telemetry, Holter) a plus 

  • Knowledge of medical terminology 

  • Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions 

  • Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English 

  • Professional appearance and demeanor. 

  • Flexibility with scheduling
