Role reports to: Senior Manager, Business Design
Location: Kenvue's corporate headquarters is currently located in Skillman NJ, but is scheduled to move to Summit, NJ in or around early 2025.
Travel %: 10
Pay: Annual base salary for new hires in this position ranges from $113,000 to $195,500. This takes into account a number of factors including work location, the candidate's skills, experience, education level & other job-related factors.
What you will do
As a Senior Manager, Experience Design on the New-to-World team you will be responsible for leading human-centered innovation & experience design workstreams across multiple segments of the business. You will leverage your extensive experience in human-centered and design thinking methodologies to lead the creation and formulation of products and systems that meet the needs of a diverse range of end-users. You will be responsible for codifying and instating best in class innovation and human-centered design principles across the wider enterprise while helping grow the New-To-World team & Digital Design Capability. You will closely partner with internal M&A teams, R&D, Marketing, Technology, and Data for project and initiative execution.
Key responsibilities:
Innovation Strategy-you are closely familiar and proficient with innovation methodologies such as Design Thinking, Two-Sided Innovation Approach, Agile, JTBD, etc
Human-Centered Design-you have expertise in human-centered design principles and a proven track record of application across a variety of engagements and product types.
Digital Product Development-you have designed digital products and have expertise in creating front-end systems to meet the requirements of a specific user base.
Design Research-you have mastered several methodologies for conducting consumer research to uncover trends & insights needed for successful ideation and development cycles
Relationship management-you have experience in navigating complex corporate environments and developing relationships with stakeholders with varying objectives and goals.
Qualifications
What we are looking for
Required Qualifications
A minimum of a BA/BS degree is required. Business, Marketing, or related field preferred.
A minimum of 8 years in experience design and innovation, with a strong portfolio / track record showcasing successful digital product launches and implementation
Expertise in human-centered design and design thinking methodologies, with a proven track record of developing user-centric solutions
Comfort in designing for complex systems, with the ability to simplify and distill intricate processes into user-friendly interfaces
Ability to communicate complex requirements to senior stakeholders across the business
Proficiency in design and prototyping tools (Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, InVision)
