CCL Label - Sioux Falls, Inc. Warehouse Associate- Nights or Weekends in Sioux Falls, South Dakota

Job Summary:

This position moves material within the warehouse and production facility, distributes products to the production floor and receives product.

Supervisory Responsibilities: None

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Receive product and distribute or label and store after entering into the inventory system.
  • Allocate and issue material to departments.
  • Tracking and recording of inventory.
  • Cleaning and organizing of the warehouse.
  • Properly complete all documentation required on the computer and by hand to track the job.
  • Properly use computer to enter/retrieve job specific information and complete training documents.
  • Perform tasks assigned by others in a diverse and varied work environment.
  • Follows Standard Operating Procedure to not cause rework or negatively affect the customer.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Must have valid drivers license.

  • Ability to measure with exceptional accuracy using various measurement tools.

  • Able to read, interpret and follow documents such as work instructions, safety rules, Standard Operating Procedures, and maintenance instructions/manuals to properly perform work.

  • Ability to troubleshoot problems.

  • Willingness and ability to work with other team members and management.

  • Strong work ethic and good attitude towards work.

  • Honest, reliable team player.

  • Safety conscious and comply with all general safety policies and procedures in accordance with Company, State and Federal Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) rules and regulations.

  • Education and Experience:

    • High school diploma, GED or equivalent
    • 6 months or more Experience in a manufacturing environment (preferred)

    Physical Requirements:

    • Regularly use hands to finger, handle or feel and reach with hands and arms above and below shoulder level.
    • Regularly stand and walk for 10-12 hours during a shift.
    • Regularly communicate in some manner either by speech/hearing or through written communication.
    • Regularly use of vision abilities including close, distance, color and peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
    • Frequently required to push/pull.
    • Frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
    • Occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
    • Regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts.
    • Occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles.
    • Regularly exposed to moderate noise level in the work environment.
