Lutheran Services in Iowa Fingerprint Associate - Bilingual in Sioux City, Iowa

LSI seeks a full-time Spanish Bilingual Fingerprint Associate for the Safe Release Services. This position is part of LSI's Refugee and Immigrant Services team serving Sioux City and the surrounding area. Work hours may include evenings and occasional weekend hours to meet availability of sponsors and clients.

Applicant will need to be fluent in Spanish.

What You'll Do

Our Fingerprint Associates perform fingerprinting for sponsors of unaccompanied minors as part of the Safe Release Services (SRS) Program. The process includes arranging appointments with sponsors, through answering phone calls and emails requesting appointments, and working to maintain an up-to-date calendar of fingerprint appointments. The Fingerprint Associate will help sponsors complete paperwork necessary for the fingerprinting and perform the physical fingerprinting act. Responsible for meeting with sponsors within required time frames and according to sponsor availability. Work hours may include evenings and occasional weekend hours.

The Fingerprint Associate may also provide support to clients served by the agency's Trafficking Victims Assistance Program (TVAP),as needed.

What You'll Need:

Required: High school diploma or equivalent and two years of related experience. Qualified candidates will have the language skills to meet the needs of the clients served.

Preferred: Bachelor's degree in human services field or related field and one year of related experience. A combination of education and experience may be considered. Related experience includes, but is not limited to: human services experience, experience working with safe release services or related programs, and/or general office or customer service experience. Experience with fingerprinting or data management is desired.
