Responsibilities:

A partial list of duties and responsibilities includes:

  • Interact with architects, engineers, and project managers to gather layout and structural requirements and designs.

  • Calculate dimensions, slope, and unit quantities of materials.

  • Detail designs with computer-aided design (CAD) software, with an emphasis on using Revit

  • Draw flow diagrams and layouts to illustrate working and preliminary plans.

  • Identify potential operational issues and offer ideas to improve functionality.

  • Check own work for accuracy and quality.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Hands-on experience with computer-aided design (CAD) software required and Revit experience preferred.

  • Good math skills.

  • Ability to meet deadlines and willingness to work overtime as required.

  • BS in Engineering, Architecture, or degree from a technical college.

  • Pre-employment, post-offer drug screen required.
