Summary

This position will be responsible for managing the entire client’s supply chain. This will include forecasting production, overseeing client's inventories and delivery of product to the client's distribution center.

Principal and Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  1. Manages theday-to-day responsibilities of existing business with anintegral focus on the company’s large national chain account, representing a significant percentage of total volume.

  2. Manages all aspects of supply chain to guide the production and inventory volume and management, maximizing freight, and ensuring to supply all DCs.

  3. Timely communication, tracking and reporting of scheduled production numbers, fill rate percentages, delivery timing, and inventory adjustments based on current and historical needs.

  4. Gains a solid understanding of the customer inventory requirements with continuous improvement to achieve defined inventory percentage goals.

  5. Enters orders, ensuring accuracy of item codes, case quantities, prices, ship-to location, and ship dates before order deadlines.

  6. Verifies accuracy of order with customer by providing order confirmation no later than COB the day after order is received. Notifies customer in writing of any inaccuracies on their purchase order.

  7. Monitors order patterns and assist customers with their inventory fulfillment.

  8. Communicates deviations from order quantities and delivery dates to customers in a timely and professional manner.

  9. Maintains regular contact with team that all production goals are met.

  10. Back-up to the Coleman Fresh Pork Production Scheduler.

Minimum Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience Requirements

  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office.

  • Strong communication skills including written and verbal.

  • Strong organizational skills

  • Must be able to work independently or in teams.

Experience Preferred

Experience in Warehousing, Direct-to-Consumer, Food Production or Trucking is a plus.

Environmental Factors and Physical Requirements

  1. Position is mostly sedentary but may require occasional moving to other offices or buildings.

  2. May need to move light equipment or supplies from one place to another.

  3. May need to access files, supplies and equipment.

  4. Work activity is in an office, open-partitioned, cubicle environment.
