System Administrator

Monday - Friday, 8A - 5P and 2 - 3 Sundays/month 8A - 11 AM

Do you like solving big problems with new thinking? Our client is looking for an experienced Systems Administrator with the passion and skills to take them to the next level. Responsibilities will include:

  • Assist in updating infrastructure to the latest technologies including vulnerability management, patching operating systems, upgrading of hardware and software.

  • Take on challenging assignments, lead initiatives, and be responsible for results.

  • Identify issues and bring forward actionable recommendations.

  • Design, develop, and implement system policies and procedures.

  • Ensure customer services run smoothly by monitoring efficiency.

  • Ensure security of data, network, and backup systems.

  • Assist our IT Helpdesk to resolve customer issues.

Requirements:

  • Associates degree in computer field or equivalent or experience in lieu of degree.

  • Must have extensive knowledge of deploying, maintaining, and upgrading multiple cluster VxRail environment.

  • Strong practical knowledge of VMware products including vSphere and Horizon strongly preferred.

  • Strong practical knowledge of Microsoft Intune strongly preferred.

  • Experience with the following is highly desirable: Cohesity backup solution, Entra ID Conditional Access and RBAC, Dynamics 365 administration, XDR solutions such as Microsoft Defender XDR or Trend Micro, Microsoft Azure Sentinel, Dell RecoverPoint for Virtual Machines.

  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees, both in verbal and written form.

  • Strong analytical problem-solving skills, interpersonal and technical skills.

  • High level of ambition and motivation for success, be solutions oriented, results drive, and self-starter.

  • Must have regular and punctual attendance.
