Job Information

UL, LLC TS Security Analyst (Web/Mobile Penetration Testing) in Singapore, Singapore

  • Perform vulnerability analysis on device under testing (DUT) through document review, vulnerability database research and functional testing.

  • Defines the test plan with the project leader.

  • Perform software and hardware penetration testing for evaluation and protocol attacks.

  • Projects report writing in compliance with the laboratory and industry best practices rules.

  • Contribute to the R&D team: attack tools development, new attack development, analysis tools.

  • Security activities requires engineer to be at the-state-of-the-art.

  • Research, development and the realization of innovative attacks on products under evaluation are tasks to be considered.

  • Maintain/improve technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, obtaining applicable certifications participating in professional societies and cross-departmental task forced. Read and follow the Underwriters Laboratories Code of Conduct and follow all physical and digital security practices.

  • Performs other duties as directed.

  • At least a Bachelor level degree (or equivalent) in Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent proving your analytical skills and technical approach.

  • Have at least minimum 2 to 4 years’ information security working experience.

  • Common Criteria evaluation experience is the best and ISO 27001 auditing will be an advantage.

  • Experience in web/mobile penetration testing and/or Network Vulnerability Assessment is highly desired.

  • Like working towards a larger goal and willing to take the initiative in your own hands.

  • Comfortable in trying yourself in new areas without necessarily knowing everything and can figure out things as you go.

  • Good at communicating and can convey message to both technical and business audiences.

  • Able to make decision independently under certain scenario, such as during site audit in customer site.
