Job Summary:

The Technical Security Project Manager, assigned to one of Pinkerton's largest global clients, will serve as the central point of contact for physical security technical projects from inception through to handover including the design, construction management, and testing and commissioning of physical security packages for the client's global corporate locations within the ANZ and ROA regions.

Essential Functions:

  • Represent Pinkerton's core values of integrity, vigilance, and excellence.

  • Manage the entire lifecycle of new technical security infrastructure design and build projects for global corporate security within the ANZ and ROA regions.

  • Manage multi-site global security infrastructure upgrade projects within the ANZ and ROA regions.

  • Oversee teams of vendors, their performance management, workload balancing, and standardization of execution methods.

  • Lead stakeholder engagement and communication to ensure the successful delivery of all assigned projects.

  • Coordinate budgeting, execution for capital expenditures, and invoices approvals.

  • Provide technical leadership to the other team members.

  • Provide eAdvise and support businesses on technical security requirements.

  • All other duties, as assigned.

Education, Experience, and Certifications:

Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, preferred with at least ten years of experience in physical security design and implementation of access control, intrusion detection, and CCTV surveillance systems. Competencies:

  • Lenel certification, preferred.

  • Prince 2 or other project management certifications, preferred.

  • Proficient written and verbal English skills.

  • Strong technical security background.

  • Able to manage multiple complex medium to large scale programs/projects.

  • Effective communicate skills with both technical and non-technical individuals regarding physical security standards and designs.

  • Able to interpret program objectives and the compilation of and adherence to project timetables.

  • Able to work independently with little supervision.

  • Effective follow-up skills.

  • Self-motivated and results driven.

  • Attentive to detail and accuracy.

  • Sound analytical and problem-resolution skills.

  • Computer skills; Microsoft Office.
