Join our team as a Sustainability Business Development Manager and take the lead in driving sustainability initiatives across the dynamic Asia Pacific region! This role involves orchestrating, training, and measuring the sustainability business activities for multiple Asian countries across a diverse sales force. The incumbent should possess a deep understanding of sustainability practices, technological advancements, and the manufacturing sector, and will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement sales strategies to support customers in their journeys to become more sustainable businesses and achieve the targets they have set.

You’ll make a difference by:

  • Aligning global sustainability business activities with regional sales strategies.

  • Guiding the identification of target industries and accounts.

  • Developing strategies for participation in regional events to optimize ROI.

  • Tailoring sales strategies and materials for regional teams to boost revenue

  • Cultivating strong relationships with key stakeholders as a trusted advisor.

  • Training regional teams in applying the portfolio to address sustainability challenges.

  • Assisting in building an ecosystem of partners to meet market needs.

  • Staying abreast of industry trends and competitor activities for informed strategy decisions, providing detailed sales reports and forecasts to management and also gathering feedback for continuous improvement.

Your Defining Qualities:

  • Possessing a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, Sustainability, or a related field (MBA is a plus).

  • Having a minimum of 10 years of proven experience in business development or sales roles, preferably in the manufacturing industry or related sectors.

  • Having a strong understanding of sustainability principles, environmental regulations, and manufacturing processes.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts in a clear and persuasive manner.

  • Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.

  • Ability to build and nurture long-term client relationships, with exceptional customer service skills, with an analytical mindset with the ability to identify market trends, assess competitive landscapes, and adapt sales strategies accordingly.

  • Strong negotiation skills to navigate complex sales cycles and secure deals. Proficiency in CRM software, sales analytics tools, and Microsoft Office Suite. Self-driven, proactive, and results-focused, capable of both independent work and collaborative teamwork.
