Job Responsibilities

  • Lead Skyworks' automation transformation initiatives, ensuring quality improvement and supporting the mission to become the best-in-class filter manufacturer.

  • Oversee the implementation of automation systems, utilizing both in-house developed solutions and off-the-shelf products to achieve full operational automation.

  • Design and architect systems to unify multiple legacy systems into a centralized, cohesive platform.

  • Take ownership of new system evaluations, solution proposals, code development, implementation, and ongoing maintenance.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to propose improvement plans and implement them into the production environment.

  • Provide guidance, training, and technical support to engineering teams to enhance their proficiency with new systems and automation technologies.

  • Manage the system code repository in accordance with DevOps methodologies, ensuring effective version control and deployment practices.

Job Requirements

  • Experience with SECS/GEM & Equipment Automation

  • Experience in Business Intelligence tools, Power BI and Tableau

  • Strong grasp of semiconductor MES system concepts.

  • Knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL and experience in using SQL Server and Oracle

  • Experience with any of common programming language (Java, Python, C#)

  • Strong and systemic problem solving and troubleshooting skills

  • Good Team Player and able to work independently

Following Requirements are a plus:

  • Solid understanding of PROMIS terminology and data structure

  • Experience in implementing Message Broker and integrating external sensor to systems

  • PLC programming with Mitsubishi GxWorks2, Omron

  • Experience with R2R preferably ONTO

  • Experience in Inficon Fabguard
