Service Technician

Purpose of the position

  • Service, maintenance, troubleshoot, and repair of container handling equipment at PSA, container depot sites, and workshops.

Main tasks and responsibilities

  • To perform equipment scheduled, preventive maintenance services.

  • To attend to customers’ equipment breakdown calls.

  • To assist in new equipment assembly, installation, testing, and commissioning.

  • Type of equipment includes; Reach stacker, empty container stacker, terminal tractor, and heavy forklift.

  • Alternate Saturday work week or shift rotation.

  • Customer Service Orientated. Team Player with good discipline and willing to learn.

  • Willing to work outdoors and overtime.

  • Have full working rights for Singapore.

What you’ll need to succeed

  • Minimum ITE graduate in Mechanical/Electrical/Automotive or equivalent.

  • Forklift or Class 3 and above driving licenses will be an added advantage.

  • Experience and qualified candidates may be considered for more senior position

  • Entry level holders are also welcome to apply. Company offers training and promotion opportunities for employees with potential.
