The Role:

LinkedIn Marketing Solutions (LMS) is searching for an exceptional sales leader to develop and coach a team in APAC of mid-market to large growth accounts in our Online Sales Organisation (OSO).

As our Senior Sales Director you will develop and execute a strategy to grow our customer base and market share across multiple industries and geographies. Our sales leaders act like owners and general managers of their own business lines. They have a purposeful and significant impact across the business by demonstrating leadership, providing leverage, and producing results that will help us scale effectively. Importantly, he/she will inspire the team to dream big, do more with less, and scale to achieve our goals.

The sales team are focused on bringing our full-funnel Marketing Solutions product suite to marketers. You will inspire, coach and mentor a team of regional leaders to excel in their role, driving the success of our customers and proving the value of their investment in LinkedIn.

This role sits on the Global OSO leadership team for LinkedIn Marketing Solutions. You will be responsible for the strategic direction of the business line in the region and be the steward of exceptional talent on the team. We are looking for a future thinker, who can shape, implement, and deliver long term strategic business plans, globally. As a natural innovator, you will create ideas, networks, and communities to elevate the OSO team to a global audience.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute on a regional strategy to retain and grow our customer base, driving increased share of wallet in OSO (online sales organisation) across APAC

  • Extensive exposure in selling across multiple geographies within SMB or Mid-Markets, with Singapore, India and Australia market exposure being essential

  • Use data to understand the business health and identify opportunities, with a view to create and implement regional/global opportunities

  • Direct the design of KPIs and ensure ongoing performance management

  • Create an exciting and rewarding environment that attracts and retains a talented sales team

  • Coach, mentor, and develop a diverse team of Managers

  • Develop and train team on customer engagement ranging from repeatable to highly customized and across full decision maker set

  • Influence product and marketing teams to ensure new product introductions and messaging align with segment needs

  • Ensure compassionate leadership, inspiring others, being open, honest, and constructive are all part of our culture!

  • Promote our culture, prioritizing diversity, inclusion, and belonging, and ensuring our teams are fully present and engaged will be essential

  • Prepare and present accurate and timely sales forecasts to senior management

  • Travel required based on business need and availability to attend regular recurring regional and global meetings outside of typical APAC hours

Basic Qualifications

  • 12+ years of experience working in a sales organization (all functions are applicable experience for example; quota-carrying sales, consulting, operations, or general management)

  • 8+ years in a leadership role, including managing 2nd line managers

  • Comprehensive understanding of the APAC business landscape (including experience spanning; Singapore, India and Australia).

  • An inspiring communicator and excellent executive presence

  • Experience in digital advertising sales or media

  • Customer/ market development experience across APAC region

  • Business transformation experience, with a background in creating positive change, which can be replicated across countries.

  • Excellent complex stakeholder management; the ability to work in a matrix organization and effectively influence.

  • You will be a natural collaborator, networker, and influencer, with the ability to build relationships across multiple geographies.

  • Demonstrated ability to build, lead and coach a high-performing team.
