As a Products & Services Markets Communications Manager, you will work as part of the wider Products & Services (P&S) Communications team to develop and amplify the HP Products and Services narratives and product innovations to consumers, businesses, partners and stakeholders across the globe. Reporting into the Head of Products and Services Market Communications, this role will be integral in driving priorities and activities supporting HP's Products and Services portfolio into the markets globally. The Communications Manager will do this through strategic planning, campaign and thought leadership development, and execution excellence for core activities such as product launches and product reviews.

The Communications Manager must be an excellent writer, compelling storyteller and possess a strong understanding of building integrated campaigns across the PESO mix. They must be able to identify opportunities for joined-up storytelling and creative communication strategies that will work across geographies, creating plans and content in collaboration with the Worldwide Products and Services Communications teams and respective business units, and with the Market Communication leaders.

With an eye for detail, they are able to execute against deadlines in a fast paced and dynamic environment. They will be biased toward action, inspire teammates to perform at a high level, be adept at driving consistency and looking for ways to improve communications processes and operational excellence. They will consistently turn strategy into execution to achieve strong results.

What a Products & Services Market Communications Manager does at HP:

  • Collaborate across teams to drive integrated communications programs with wider Corporate Affairs, Marketing, Business Units and support functions.

  • Build and maintain relationships with other members of the P&S Comms team to inform P&S and pan-HP communications strategy and content.

  • Evaluate, prioritize and drive key P&S strategies, programs and activities for the local markets

  • Develop high-impact, creative and scalable strategic communications programs, content and campaigns in support of business objectives across earned, owned and social platforms.

  • Develop and drive product/experience launches, earned product reviews program, and thought leadership narrative into the local markets.

  • Own and drive development and adoption of innovative communications principles, ideas across the P&S Market Campaigns and wider country comms teams.

  • Contribute to driving operational excellence for P&S team; and play a key role in developing reporting mechanisms to demonstrate ROI, linking work to business and communication objectives

  • Management of external agency hub in Singapore

  • Campaign budget management

Individuals who do well in this role at HP, usually possess:

  • BA or BS in Communications, Marketing or Business Administration.

  • 10+ years of work experience in communications, journalism, or marketing.

  • Proven experience crafting content for social, digital and traditional media, thought leadership content and building content strategy, messaging

  • Understands the evolving media landscape and newsworthy storytelling

  • Superior storytelling, writing and editing skills; strong oral communications skills and ability to convey complex ideas

  • Superior organization and program management skills within fast-paced and demanding environment

  • A relentless focus on the details

  • Ability to link communications plans and activities to business objectives and results

  • Sound judgement, with the ability to balance short- and long-term priorities in a disciplined manner

  • Strategic thinker with a strong grasp on global issues, current events, and business trends

  • High levels of tact and diplomacy to interact with teams all over the world

  • Ability to interact with all levels of the company top to bottom

  • Flexible, nimble, and able to thrive within a growing and evolving organization

  • Collaborative in nature

  • Experience effectively managing relationships with external agency partners to maximize impact

  • Proficient in Microsoft (PPT, Word, Excel) & Collaboration platforms (Teams, Zoom)
