A Day in the Life

  • Quality Improvement Projects across the sites:

  • Lead and execute improvement projects related to manufacturing quality. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for enhancement.

  • Drive strategic initiatives aimed at elevating product quality and compliance.

  • Core Competency Development in Quality organization:

  • Establish and strengthen the Quality Engineering (QE) core competency within the organization.

  • Knowledge Transfer and Teaching:

  • Effectively transfer quality concepts and best practices to team members.

  • Mentor and coach junior engineers in quality methodologies.

  • Expertise in Process Validation, Process Monitoring / Statistical Process Control (SPC),Test Method Validation (TMV, Risk Management. Data analysis and Critical Thinking

  • System Understanding:

  • Gain a deep understanding of how the system supports various processes within the organization.

  • Leverage this knowledge to drive continuous improvement.

  • Decision-Making Authority:

  • Make informed decisions related to quality processes and improvements.

  • Serve as a consultant for critical quality-related choices.

  • Continuous Improvement:

  • Continuously improve existing processes and systems.

  • Develop and implement innovative solutions to enhance quality outcomes.

  • Technical Mastery:

  • Stay abreast of global quality excellence programs, industry trends, regulations, and advancements.

  • Be a technical expert in quality engineering practices.

Must Have:

  • Bachelor’s degree required

  • Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience

Your Profile:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field (Master’s preferred)

  • Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), Certified Quality Process Analyst or equivalent would be an advantage

  • Six Sigma Green Belt certification would be a plus

  • Significant experience in quality engineering, preferably in the medical device industry

  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities
