HP Inc. PC Hardware EE Engineering in Singapore, Singapore

HP is a Human Capital Partner - we commit to human capital development and adopting progressive workplace practices in Singapore.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage Project design progress from early engineering design to mass production.

  • Manage all related HW designs and work with vendors to address/solve issues.

  • Review product specifications with IC suppliers / partners.

  • Create and maintain system architecture to drive component level and board level (PCBA) design and layout.

  • Bring technical expertise and experience in product design involving strong cross-functional and system capabilities:

  • Collaborate with Internal/external teams to ensure smooth and efficient project execution.

  • Evaluate current design to achieve our quality standards.

  • Review full EE BOM for cost down initiatives.

  • Manage projects to meet schedule and feature requirements.

Basic Qualifications :

  • Solid experience in PCBA and electrical designs involving:

  • EE components.

  • DC/DC circuit.

     - USB interfaces.

     - Battery power management / Power consumption modeling.

     - System design flow (HW/FW/SW).

  • EMI/ESD/RF/Antenna design experience is a plus.

  • Design for Compliance experience for product mass production.

  • Design test scenario / experiment for new and unique features.

  • Strong PCB layout knowledge.

  • Proven knowledge in current and latest manufacturing operations.

  • Quick learner, self-motivated, and curious with good priorities and time-management.

Preferred Qualifications :

  • Good communication skills with fluency in both written and spoken English.

  • Team player with an outspoken, open mind and creative personality.

  • Experience in working in a multi-cultural working environment.

  • Experience in Audio/Senor products is a plus.

Education and Experience Required:

  • Master's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent.

  • Min 7 years' experience in consumer electronics industry or equivalent.
