Under direct supervision, assists in analysis, modification and design of products and services for assigned projects using basic knowledge of materials, components, and their applications as key inputs. Assists and participates in testing and resulting analysis for assigned projects. Incorporates Reliability, HSE, and Quality analysis techniques during the design process. Job tasks, correctly performed, impact indirectly on cost containment, efficiency, profitability or operations. This is an entry level position and requires no previous experience. Certification as a Licensed/Chartered Professional Engineer is preferred.

Responsibilities:

  • Procedure info capturing, drafting and amendment as required

  • Mechanical fixturing and tooling design and drafting

  • Technical disposition for vendor and quality queries

  • Assist investigations into field and in-house testing failures

  • Assist product line engineers on line specific technical matters

  • Assist advance manufacturing in manufacturing process improvement efforts including additive manufacturing efforts

  • Support other Quality and Delivery improvement initiatives assigned to Engineering

    Requirements:

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering with 2-5 years of experience

  • Mandatory Software Competency: Solidworks, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
