DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

As an intern of the Loyalty Operations Department, the intern will assist the team in supporting the new development of the loyalty program, optimization & reporting of existing loyalty program in APEC. Key tasks for the intern:

1) Monthly performance reporting of existing loyalty program in APEC

2) Development support for new toolkits/playbook

3) Development support for upcoming loyalty program initiatives

4) Competition landscape analysis

5) Support launch planning, operational coordination & on ground activation

JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

You should be a high-potential intern who is passionate, committed and keen to establish a career in the hospitality industry with the following attributes:

  • Basic Computer Skills: Uses basic computer hardware and software (e.g., personal computers, word processing software, Internet browsers, etc.).

  • Mathematical Reasoning: Demonstrates ability to add, subtract, multiply or divide, quickly, correctly, and in a way that allows one to solve work-related issues.

  • Oral Comprehension: Demonstrates ability to listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences.

  • Reading comprehension: Demonstrates understanding of written sentences and paragraphs in work- related documents.

  • Writing: communicates effectively in writing as appropriate for the needs of the audience. · Ability to work independently and take initiative, strong time management skills

  • Strong interpersonal skills; ability to work effectively in a collaborative work environment, especially in a multicultural team, and with all departments – both above property and at the hotels

  • Possess strong ethical values and behavior

  • Creative, driven and having an inquisitive mindset

QUALIFICATION STANDARD

Education: Undergraduate in hospitality management, preferably in their third year of undergrad studies Requirements Singaporean, Singapore Permanent Resident Holder or valid student pass Prepared to commit to a six months’ internship Eligible for undergraduate in a Singapore registered university program Grooming: All employees must maintain a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance per Marriott standards.
