Description

Project Kuiper is an initiative to launch a constellation of Low Earth Orbit satellites that will provide low-latency, high-speed broadband connectivity to unserved and underserved communities around the world.

The Senior Global Expansions Manager will be responsible for managing global expansion in new regions to support Project Kuiper's business. A successful candidate must have experience managing large scale initiatives, with multiple stakeholders. They must also thrive in a high degree of ambiguity, and working through competing priorities.

This role will be highly collaborative, requiring partnerships with cross-functional leaders to drive positive results. This role requires ability to advocate on behalf of our customers (internal and external) and an ability to push back without being adversarial.

Key job responsibilities

Be the Leader for Kuiper ASIC APAC Business Operations. Develops operations models and oversees supply chain, order managements and supplier management.

  • Lead cross-functional Initiatives to improve supply chain process and overall structure of the business

  • Leading supply chain and inventory management, setting goals, and strategic directions, and driving tool and process development

  • lead and drive operational collaboration with suppliers and internal customers

  • Provide leadership on project selection, scope, definition and performance to ensure alignment with business strategy

  • Train teams on new processes and ensure effective communication of change

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, engineering, finance or related technical or quantitative field.

  • 10 years+ experience working at the intersection of supply chain/logistics/materials and technology coupled with project/program management experience.

  • Experience working with, presenting to and influencing senior executives up to VP level.

  • Experience in managing Asia suppliers/partners in an outsourced supply chain model.

  • Travel within APAC region up to 40 percent of the time.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong background in semiconductor supply chain principles and/or previous relevant experience.

  • 5+ years of directly managing and developing high calibre teams.

  • MBA or equivalent advanced degree is preferred.
