About the role

This position is for a Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Analyst, who will be involved in reporting, monthly forecasting and strategic planning.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Analyst, you’ll be responsible for:

Actual reporting

  • Collect/consolidate the actual performance for the month, analyze the key variances versus forecast and write the commentary for management reporting

  • Ensure supplemental data are uploaded correctly and are reconciled

Orders / Shippable Orders / Backlog

  • Ensure that entities upload weekly order data in HFM, analyze the key variances and 4-week moving average versus prior year and write the commentary for management reporting

  • Maintain the database for significant orders

  • Reconcile the weekly order report with actuals every quarter

Monthly Forecasting (Pre and Post Review)

  • Prepare the forecast package/templates to be used for the monthly review with local entities

  • Upload forecast for budget adjustment and dormant entities, check and clear OOBs

  • Ensure supplemental data are uploaded correctly and are reconciled

  • Assist in preparing the forecast package by consolidating required manual templates (i.e. backlog conversion, pricing, pipeline, key wins, segment report, CAPEX, export sales, etc.)

  • Maintain databook and back-ups provided to Management

Annual Business and Strategic Planning/Budgeting

  • Prepare the plan package/templates to be used for the review with local entities

  • Upload plan for budget adjustment and dormant entities, check and clear OOBs

  • Ensure supplemental data are uploaded correctly and are reconciled

  • Assist in preparing the plan review package by consolidating required manual templates

  • Maintain databook and back-ups provided to Management

Other Responsibilities

  • Provide financial inputs to other support functions as required (i.e. Marketing, HR, Business Development, etc.)

  • Prepare presentation slides for monthly staff meeting, bi-weekly Leadership Team call, business reviews, etc.

Requirements

We are looking for people who are experienced in Financial Accounting and familiar in Financial reporting tools. If this is you, get in touch.

As a minimum you must have:

  • Possess University Degree or equivalent

  • Candidate with good financial accounting background with relevant working experience

  • Experienced in Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint, Excel & Word

  • Experienced in working with financial platform and knowledge of financial reporting tools, Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) would be a plus

  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail is an essential part of the job

  • Adaptability, multitasking and time management

  • Ability to comprehend data into analytical statistics for reporting purpose
