Abbott Field Training Manager in Singapore, Singapore

MAIN PURPOSE OF ROLE

Drive sales force capability and business results via new hire training plans to accelerate onboarding and improve pull-through of knowledge and skills. Support APAC Training Director in coordinating and executing training plans for tenured sales force, including gap analysis, design & development, delivering workshop and implementing post-training embedment activities.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • ​Responsible for designing, maintaining & delivering new hire training programs within APAC New Hire Onboarding Framework, including but not limited to sales process, Salesforce and product training

  • Conduct field work with new hire, review and assess new hire selling skills and product knowledge to bridge classroom learning to real-world application; provide input on any recommended corrective measures

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders e.g. sales, marketing, medical affairs & technical/ application specialist to ensure training solutions are relevant and addressing commercial goals

  • Responsible for administrating and executing training programs for tenured sales team, including post-training embedment activities

  • Oversee the maintenance of competency measures, including clinical/ product knowledge test, role play/ assignment assessment and generate report for stakeholder review

  • Develop, administer and maintain training content on learning management system

  • Overseas the APAC training process for product knowledge and Salesforce training

  • Identify/ anticipate training needs and create curriculum to facilitate the necessary training

QUALIFICATIONS

Required :

  • Bachelor’s degree in any science field

  • 5+ years of experience in diagnostic/ medical device sales;

  • 2+ years training (especially instructional design, adult learning) experience

Preferred :

  • Previous people management/ coaching experience

  • Leadership, organization, communication and team building skills

Experience/Background

  • Experience in administrating learning management systems

  • Experience in designing and implementing training curricula

  • Deliver effective virtual and in-person training experience
