About the role

This position is for a Facilities & Administration Manager, responsible for all matters pertaining to CTPL facilities, administration, infrastructure and equipment maintenance including factory, engineering and corporate admin office.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Facilities & Administration Manager, you’ll be responsible for:

  • Plant Facilities:

  • To Lead and establish a team of maintenance personnel and provide preventive maintenance program for all equipment & facilities (factory, engineering and corporate admin office).

  • Building Inspections and Repairs:

  • Regularly inspect buildings’ structures to identify repair or renovation needs.

  • Address electrical, plumbing, or structural issues promptly, which include servicing of the electrical, compressed air and air-conditioning systems.

  • Planning and Coordinating Installations and Refurbishments:

  • Organize and oversee installations related to telecommunications, heating, electricity, and other infrastructure components.

  • Coordinate refurbishments to enhance the workplace environment.

  • Equipment and Supplies Maintenance:

  • Manage the upkeep of equipment and supplies to meet health and safety standards.

  • Ensure that all facilities are well-maintained and operational.

  • Utilities Management:

  • Review utilities consumption and strive to minimize costs.

  • Optimize energy usage and resource allocation.

  • Staff Supervision and External Contractor Management:

  • Supervise engineer and facilities staff (including custodians, technicians, and groundskeepers).

  • Collaborate with external contractors for maintenance and repairs.

  • Space Allocation:

  • Allocate office space based on organizational needs.

  • Responsible for managing the daily administration operations include Receptionist, Mailroom, pantry supplies, stationeries and copier paper replenishment etc.

  • Responsible for managing the Company transportation and Cafeteria vendors including day to day coordination and working with supply chain for contract renewal and price negotiation. Managing the company cafeteria facilities and equipment.

  • To participate actively in company productivity and quality programs such as Carrier Excellence.

  • Involve in EH&S on-going enhancement and implementation. (Eg. LOTO, work at height, etc.) & support in various audits (Program Evaluation, Compliance Audit etc)

  • Creating & maintaining budgets for maintenance, repairs, admin and contracts

  • Continue to sustain and improve Green Building activities and program

  • Check and ensure document are updated and sustained (Meeting ISO 9001 Standard/Requirement)

  • Keep all relevant personnel informed of all plant/site facilities activities

Requirements

We are looking for people who are experienced in facilities and proficient in PLC control. If this is you, get in touch.

As a minimum you must have:

  • Degree with 5 years related working experience in facilities and utilities, preferably in a manufacturing environment

  • Good knowledge in PLC control

  • Knowledge in building structure like erect of new office room or A&A project

  • Preferable with Green Mark Accredited Professionals (GMAP) and Electrician license
